Sedrick Barefield signs with BAL’s SLAC


Sedrick Barefield’s next journey will take him to Guinea.

The 6-foot-2 Filipino-American guard will reinforce Seydou Legacy Athlétique Club (SLAC) in the ongoing 2023 Basketball Africa League Season.

SLAC, who is in the Nile Conference along with Al Ahly, Cape Town, City Oilers, Ferroviario da Beira, and Petro de Luandia, will begin its BAL campaign on Wednesday.

Barefield had a long 2022 run that saw him play in Taiwan with T1’s Tainan, the Philippines’ Strong Group, and EASL team Bay Area.

The 2023 Season of BAL will end on May 27.
