Irish Magno finished with a silver medal once more after a close 3-2 loss to nemesis Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Tam in the gold medal contest in the women’s flyweight at the 31st Southeast Asian Games boxing competitions, Sunday at the Bac Ninh Gymnasium in Bac Ninh, Vietnam.
It is a second straight final between the other two and just like in the 2019 edition, it was the Vietnamese who emerged victorious with the title.
The national boxing team finished their Games stint with three gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.
