SEA Games: Hagen Topacio shoots to silver in individual trap

The Philippine shooting team would not go home empty-handed from Hanoi.

Hagen Topacio bagged the silver medal in the 31st Southeast Asian Games’ last event of the shooting competitions — the men’s individual trap, Sunday at the Hanoi National Sport Training Center in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Topacio ended with a final score of 36, just three points off Vietnam’s Hoang Diep Nguyen who ended with 39.

Meanwhile, his teammate Carlos Carag pocketed his second straight medal in the event with the bronze, finishing with 30 points.

The two were members of the men’s trap team that struck gold three years ago in Lubao, Pampanga.
