Scottie Thompson has always supported local products.
That is why he has chosen to be the face of a local shoeline instead of going with a foreign brand.
Thompson has signed a shoe deal with World Balance.
In the deal, the 6-foot-1 utility guard will not only showcase World Balance come PBA Season 46. He has also collaborated to launch a signature shoe with the brand.
“Thompson caught our attention largely due to his court tenacity, rebounding prowess, and versatile play on both ends of the court and as well as his challenger mindset of grit and hard work,” said CHG Global Inc. president Barny Chong.
“This makes him a natural fit for World Balance.”
Thompson is the first player to sign with World Balance since Philip Cezar.
With this, Thompson will also be the face of World Balance’s basketball and performance line which are designed with level-up tech innovation.
“We are thrilled to add him to our WB family and we can’t wait to collaborate with him in bringing an exclusive collection to the market,” continued Chong.
