SBP grateful to Malacanang for formation of IATF for FIBA WC

The Office of President Ferdinand Marcos has created an Inter-Agency Task Force that directs all government agencies and instruments in helping the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas in its hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Through Administrative Order No. 5 issued by Malacanang on Monday, the Philippine Sports Commission, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Health, the Department of Interior and Local Government, the Department of Public Works and Highways, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine National Police, and the Metro Manila Development Authority will work hand-in-hand with the agency in ensuring a quick renovation of the three venues (SMART Araneta Coliseum, SM Mall of Asia Arena, and Philippine Arena), easy mobility of the participants, and security of everyone involved.

The PSC welcomed the development, saying that it will do everything in its power to have the best hosting possible.UAAP-Season-85-Basketball-Coaches-Meeting-Dickie-Bachmann SBP grateful to Malacanang for formation of IATF for FIBA WC 2023 FIBA World Cup Basketball Gilas Pilipinas News POC/PSC - philippine sports news

“The PSC continues to commit its support and cooperation for the successful hosting of the Games, and to work hand-in-hand with the SBP and other vital agencies, with the ultimate objective of creating an amazing basketball environment that unites people and encourages them to ‘Win for All.'”
