SBP all set for 2017 SEABA Championships


With less than 31 days to go until the 2017 SEABA Championships, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the hosts of this year’s regional tilt, is ready to give both the fans and its guests a tournament to remember.

The complete schedule and the availability of the tickets were announced by the SBP in a press conference held in Pasig City.

“Lahat tinitignan ito as a serious competition. We have no room for error in this tournament,” Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes reiterated.

The seniors division of the tournament will host seven teams while the U-16 championship will have five teams in its field.

The SEABA Championship is set to begin on Friday, May 12 and will run for seven days while the U-16 tournament begins on Sunday, May 14. The juniors games will begin at 10:00am and while their senior counterparts play at 3:00pm.

“Araneta will start selling by tomorrow,” SBP executive director Sonny Barrios bared.

There will be separate tickets for the U-16 and the seniors tournament the SBP added.

Upper box tickets will be available starting Wednesday, April 12 while the availability of the lower seats will announced at a later date.
