Ronac 3×3: Kaye Pingol lifts Uratex Dream past sister team in finale

The country’s top female 3×3 player Kaye Pingol proved her worth, leading Uratex Dream to a 22-15 win over Uratex Tibay to top the Ronac 3×3 Invitational last Saturday at Ronac Living Gallery in Mandaluyong.

Pingol drained the championship-winning deuce with 2:46 to spare in the finale featuring the country’s top two 3×3 teams.

The quartet that also has Alyssa Villamor, Shanda Anies, and Tina Deacon also pocketed P15,000.

Meanwhile, Tibay’s Kat Quimpo, Ford Grajales, Sam Harada, and Eunique Chan brought home P10,000.

Nazareth School of National University, composed of Ashlyn Abong, Cielo Pagdulagan, and Gilas 3×3 standouts in Nicole Pring and Princess Villarin, and Team Pwede, who had Jhenn Angeles, Mar Prado, Bettina Penaflor, and Sofia Felisarta, made it to the top four.

Jack Animan was the guest of honor of the tournament that serves as a test tournament for the planned international invitational on February 4-5, 2023 at Robinsons Magnolia Atrium.

Also competing in the tournament were Davao’s Royal Eagles, No Pressure Bicygnal, and Spartan.
