Roger Pogoy will be with TNT during his prime years.
The 31-year-old Cebuano sniper signed a three-year, maximum extension with the Tropang Giga on Monday at the PLDT office.
This is on top of the one year left in his existing contract which he signed back in 2021.
Agent Edgar Mangahas posted the development on his social media accounts.
Pogoy was drafted by TNT during the Gilas class of the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft.
In his seven-year stay with the Tropang Giga, Pogoy helped the team notch two PBA championships.
The seven-time all-star had a spectacular year last season, averaging 18.29 points, 3.98 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.35 steals.
However, his campaign was derailed after sustaining a fractured finger during Game 2 of the Governors’ Cup Finals.
Still, Pogoy was rewarded by the team.
TNT’s head honchos were present during the signing as PLDT/Smart president Al Panlilio, TNT governors Ricky Vargas, and team manager Jojo Lastimosa were there.
