Fighting Maroon Ricci Rivero has vowed to give financial assistance to the eight protesters arrested near University of the Philippines Cebu on Friday afternoon.
According to a highly placed source, the 22-year-old immediately coordinated with NoWhereToGoButUP president Renan Dalisay forhow he can help out the protesters that are currently at CCPO headquarters in Camp Sotero Cabahug.
The source added that Rivero will shoulder whatever is needed by the apprehended protesters.
The eight individuals who were protesting the controversial Anti-Terror Bill were arrested by the police early Friday. The reason? They said that the eight individuals violated the ban on mass gatherings under general community quarantine.
According to reports, there were minors in the group.
Some of Rivero’s teammates in Kobe Paras and Jun Manzo have also pledged to raise funds for the arrested protesters.
