Ricci Rivero got two wins on Saturday.
Shortly after University of the Philippines’ 83-76 win over Far Eastern University to close out its first round campaign in the UAAP Season 84 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Rivero got on the scorer’s table and grabbed a mic.
In front of the UP faithful that stayed behind, the 23-year-old basketball player/actor dropped a question to his special guest Andrea Brillantes.
“Can I ask Blythe to be my girlfriend?”
As Rivero asked the question, two fans went to the back of the 19-year-old actress — one holding a black shirt with a “YES” on it while the other carrying a “NO”.
Of course, Brillantes chose “YES”.
Rivero and Brillantes were rumored to be dating a month ago. And now, it’s more than just confirmed.
Rivero ended up tallying 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Fighting Maroons.
