Reyland Torres and Janjan Felicilda, two Bullpups-turned-Bulldogs, have decided to leave National University.
Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation have told Tiebreaker Times that the two had been searching for a new university since June 20.
No reason was given as to why Torres and Felicilda moved out of the school they have been with since high school.
Despite being rookies for NU last season, the two showed poise in manning the floor for the Bulldogs.
Torres, a 6-foot-1 guard out of Bago City, Negros Occidental, averaged 7.86 points, 2.43 rebounds, and 1.29 steals per game.
Meanwhile, Felicilda, who stands at 5-foot-7 and hails from Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, posted numbers of 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.71 assists, and 1.36 steals.
Torres and Felicilda were part of the NSNU squads that won gold in the high school boys division during seasons 81 and 82.
If they choose to remain in the UAAP, they will have to sit out Season 85 and will only have three years of eligibility left.
