Rey Nambatac will be with Rain or Shine for the next three years.
The 5-foot-11 combo guard has signed a max extension with the Elasto Painters. This will see him play for the organization until 2024.
His manager Edgar Mangahas announced the development on his Instagram page.
Also with Nambatac on Thursday morning were Rain or Shine governor Atty. Mamerto Mondragon, consultant Caloy Garcia, and assistant team manager Jireh Ibanes.
Nambatac was drafted as the seventh overall pick by Rain or Shine during the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft.
Last conference, the native of Cagayan de Oro posted norms of 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 0.9 steals in 13 games played.
With Nambatac signed, Rain or Shine shifts its attention to extending Javee Mocon, whose rookie deal will expire early next year.
