Renaldo Balkman returns for third tour with Alab Pilipinas

For the third straight year, Renaldo Balkman will be one of the three imports for San Miguel Alab Pilipinas in the ABL.

The league announced the signing on Friday.

The 35-year-old Puerto Rican was one of the key figures that powered Alab to the top of the region two years ago.

Together with Ramos, though, Balkman and Alab could not defend their crown last season, falling in the quarterfinals.

Balkman, who won the Jones Cup MVP plum last July, has a career average of 25.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game for Alab.

It is also rumored that Justin Brownlee will return to Alab once Ginebra’s campaign in the Governors’ Cup ends.
