Despite Remy Martin’s off night, Kansas was able to rout Stony Brook, taking an 88-59 win to go to 4-0, Friday morning (Manila time) at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas.
In 17 minutes of action, Martin went scoreless, going 0-of-2 from the field, with four rebounds and two assists.
Clinging to a 38-32 lead after the first half, Kansas went on a 14-0 run to pull away with a 71-46 lead with 8:39 left in the game.
The Jayhawks would lead by as many as 32 on two occasions.
Ochai Agbaji led Kansas with 25 points built on four treys with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
David McCormack and Christian Braun had 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Zach Clemence also added 11 points in just 12 minutes of gametime.
Tykei Greene was the sole double-digit scorer for Stony Brook with 11 points.
Kansas will compete in the ESPN Events Invitational next from November 26-29.
