It will be a busy month for Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 as they compete in various FIBA 3×3 competitions.
Noy Remogat will lead Gilas U23 in the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Nations League from June 10-16 in Handan Shi, China.
Remogat, who is sitting out UAAP Season 87 for residency at the University of the Philippines, will be joined by fellow transferees Jun Roque of Letran and Perpetual’s Patrick Sleat and Juan Miguel Tulabut.
Gilas Men’s fifth and sixth members are Jynno Ladimo and Zedjay Etulle.
For the distaff side, the National University quartet of Camille Clarin, Tin Cayabyab, Angel Surada, and Ann Pingol will be the core four.
Adamson’s Elaine Etang and Cheska Apag will be the reserves.
The Nations League will be a grind for the young stars as it will be a six-stop tournament, culminating on June 16.
The conference winners will advance to the U23 World Cup.
Starting today until Thursday, Gilas Women’s 3×3 will also make their 2024 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series debut in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The team, backed by Uratex, will be composed of Kaye Pingol, Hazelle Yam, Allana Lim, and Sam Harada.
The Philippines is slotted in Pool A with Mongolia, Mongolia’s Under-23 squad, and Ukraine.
The top two teams will advance to the knockout rounds on Thursday.
