As the dust settled on the epic NCAA Season 94 Juniors Basketball season, Mapua Red Robins head coach Randy Alcantara stood at the center of it all. He savored the moment as if it were his last.
And it would be his last with the Red Robins after 10 years.
“Last year ko na ‘to sa Juniors. Thank you at nag champion bago maka…” shared Alcantara after Mapua’s epic 77-74 win over La Salle Green Hills, Thursday afternoon.
“Bago mag-start ako sa seniors.”
After years of serving in the staff of Atoy Co, Alcantara – a former Cardinal himself – has finally been promoted to the seniors level for Season 95, according to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation.
And all Mapua are waiting for is his signature.
San Juan muna,” he added.
As he moves up, Alcantara hopes that he has left a lasting legacy to the Red Robins program.
“Malaking tulong to.
