Rapidoot says chemistry won’t be an issue for retooled ONIC PH

Despite returning to a relatively new team, Ralph “Rapidoot” Adrales is confident that ONIC PH can pull off surprises in the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 12.

Rapidoot skipped the previous MPL PH season to focus on his studies and is finally set to make his comeback to ONIC PH, joining a retooled squad led by former TNC stars Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos and Mark “Kramm” Rusiana, as well as ex-Omega Esports jungler Dean “Raizen” Sumagui.

The 23-year-old roamer said that chemistry won’t be an issue for the new-look squad as they put emphasis on building camaraderie with their new teammates in the offseason.

“Mabilis lang po namin nabuo yung chemistry namin. Siguro mga one month lang. Confident kami na kaya naming magdominate,” said Rapidoot, who opted to play for the team’s MDL squad, ONIC Arsenals, last season.

ONIC PH revealed its revamped roster earlier in the day through its Facebook page.

The team retained Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez, Kenneth “Nets” Barro, and David “Boss A Gamboa while also picking up former RSG PH roamer John “Perkziva” Sumawan. Euphoria Esports rookies Jem “Jem” Lañojan from ONIC Arsenals, Czedrick “Yoshinu” Romero will complete the 10-man lineup.

“Sa akin kasi ayos kasi, may iba’t-ibang learning kaming natutunan sa galing ibang team na medyo na-adapt namin sa kanila. Parang i-weigh yung playstyle tas pagsasama-sama,” Rapidoot said.

Rapidoot also shared that he has learned a lot from his stint in the MDL, and he is very eager to show all of it once the league starts.

“Siguro yung playstyle ko na nagseset sa MDL, tsaka may bago akong playstyle ngayon. Secret muna siya,” said ONIC’s star roamer. (Jan Marcus Montevirgen)
