Ralph “Rapidoot” Adrales was supposed to make his debut in the MPL Philippines Season Nine.
The 24-year-old roamer, however, had a change of heart at the last minute and decided to stay with his Monster Anarchy family in the amateur scene.
Ahead of ONIC PH’s clash against RSG PH on Sunday, Rapidoot revealed that he actually topped the defending champions’ tryouts prior to Season Nine but made the tough decision to decline the offer.
RSG PH eventually went with former TNC roamer Dylan “Light” Catipon, who had his breakout season and led RSG PH to the title while also winning the Most Valuable Player award in the process. He also led the team to its first-ever international title in the 2022 MSC.
Tinanggihan ko kasi gusto ko sabay sabay kami mag-MPL. Papasok kami ng MPL sabay sabay,” he added.
The move proved to have paid dividends for both RSG PH and Rapidoot, who is now the team captain of ONIC PH in the team’s Season 10 campaign.
Asked if he had any regrets about his decision, Rapidoot cleared that he does not have any and even said that he is very happy with what RSG PH has achieved in the past year.
