Rain or Shine replaces hurt Kwame Alexander with Richard Ross

Kwame Alexander’s PBA return was short-lived as Rain or Shine has brought in Richard Ross to take his place.

The former NLEX Road Warriors reinforcement was replaced since he suffered an ankle injury during his debut last October 23, in the Elasto Painters’ 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup meeting with the Blackwater Elite which they won.

Alexander still managed to play in their match versus Barangay Ginebra San Miguel last October 26. Unfortunately, his efforts went for naught since they bowed late, absorbing their sixth defeat in eight games in the conference.

Alexander has averages of 18.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2 5 steals, and 2.0 assists in the two games he played.

Coming in is Ross, a 27-year-old American who has had professional stints in Norway and Luxembourg.

The product of Old Dominion is now the Elasto Painters’ fourth import this conference after Alexander, Joel Wright, Kayel Locke. He will make his debut versus the second-seeded NLEX Road Warriors this Wednesday.
