PVL: Petro Gazz makes quick work of Army, books semis ticket


Petro Gazz booked its place in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference round-robin semifinals after denying United Auctioneers Inc-Army, 25-13, 25-12, 25-19, Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Angels, who are now at 5-2 at third, joined Creamline and Chery Tiggo in the semis with one ticket still up for grabs between Cignal, F2 Logistics, and Choco Mucho.

The Lady Troopers finished the tournament winless at 0-8.

Petro Gazz will end the elimination round on Tuesday against the Cargo Movers at 5:30 pm at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.
