PTA declares Donnie Geisler as persona non grata

The Philippine Taekwondo Association has declared one of its brightest products in Donnie Geisler as a person no longer welcome to the federation.

In a statement released on Monday afternoon through its chairman Dr. Manolo Gabriel, PTA has recommended that the two-time Olympian be expelled from the federation and declared persona non grata.

Firstly, PTA now considers all rights and privileges granted to him as a member forfeited and terminated. He is also no longer welcome by the PTA.

Thirdly, all public and all registered chapters under Geisler have been notified of this. The PTA will take all necessary measures to prevent him from engaging further in activities that will harm the good name of the federation.

Last July, Geisler sued PTA secretary-general Rocky Samson for cyber libel and the PTA for “years of maltreatment and abuse”.
