Already qualified for the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup proper, Indonesia will use the Doha window as a way to build the chemistry of their men’s national basketball team.
Rajko Toroman will bring just 12 players to the Doha window of the Qualifiers set from February 18-22.
Leading the squad are the duo of Lester Prosper and Brandon Jawato.
In their national team debut, Prosper had 28 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Meanwhile, Jawato added 26 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and a steal in Indonesia’s 90-76 win over Thailand last November 28.
Also carried over from their Manama window campaign were Abraham Grahati, Kevin Sitorus, Hardianas Lakudu, Arki Wisnu, Andakara Dhyaksa, Govinda Saputra, Widyanta Teja, and Agassi Goantara.
Seventeen-year-old Derrick Michael Xzavierro returns after playing in the opening window. On the other hand, 20-year-old Muhammad Sandy Aziz will make his 5-on-5 national team debut.
Indonesia takes on South Korea on the 19th, Gilas on the 20th, and Thailand on the 22nd.
