PLDT taps Russian Savkina-Samoilenko as import


PLDT announced on Tuesday that Russian outside hitter Elena Savkina-Samoilenko will reinforce the High Speed Hitters for the upcoming 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference,.

The 6-foot-4 Savkina-Samoilenko had stints with Luch Moscow and Proton-Saratov in Russia before playing for Le Cannet Volleyball and Municipal Olympique Mougins Volley-Ball in France.

Her last stint was in Turkey with Mersin B.Şehir Bld.

Savkina-Samoilenko will join a PLDT side that was coming off a fourth place finish in the Invitational Conference.

The Reinforced Conference will begin on October 8.
