Vic Manuel’s agent Danny Espiritu is more than sure that his client will no longer be part of Alaska when the 46th season of the Philippine Basketball Association rolls around this April.
“Yes, one-hundred-ten percent!” he told The Chasedown.
Besides Manuel laying down the hammer that he no longer wants to be part of the Alaska franchise, a team that he has been with since 2014, it will not be in the Aces’ best interest to keep a disgruntled star player in their roster.
And if Manuel has a preferred destination where he can go to, it’s with Phoenix so that he can join his best friend Calvin Abueva.
“Phoenix siyempre kasi best friend niya si Calvin e,” shared Espiritu, also the manager of Abueva.
Espiritu also bared that NLEX and San Miguel have also expressed interest in getting the 2018 PBA Mr. Quality Minutes and Order of Merit awardee.
However, Alaska is demanding to get Kiefer Ravena in exchange for Manuel.
Kailangan namin makakuha ng equal value kasi you are valuable sa amin’,” said Espiritu.
Despite being technically a free agent, Manuel’s rights are still with Alaska.
Espiritu and Manuel know this, saying that they have no say in where they will land next.
