Phoenix Super LPG gets Johnathan Williams as reinforcement

Phoenix Super LPG has tapped former NBA pro Johnathan Williams as its import for the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, which begins next month.

Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation confirmed this development to Tiebreaker Times.

Williams, who arrived in the country on Tuesday, went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft after spending two years at Missouri and another two years at Gonzaga.

Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Lakers eventually signed him, and he played 26 games there, averaging 6.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

After a brief stint with Rishon LeZion in Israel, Williams found himself back in the league, this time with Washington, where he played six games.

Subsequently, Williams had stints in Turkey, Germany, Italy, and Japan.
