Perpetual brings back Frankie Lim

After asking him to go “on leave” over the weekend, the brass of University of Perpetual Help System DALTA brought back Frankie Lim.

Multiple sources confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

Last Saturday, Perpetual asked Lim not to attend the team’s practice. This came in the wake of the Altas’ 46-point beatdown at the hands of the San Beda Red Lions last Friday.

Perpetual athletic director Sammy Acaylar shared that there was no reason given for the management’s decision.

“Wala naman silang sinasabing reason behind. Ang nasa management lang nakakaalam ng reason. Basta kami, umattend lang kami ng meeting at yun ang naging decision nila,” he said.

Lim’s trusted assistant Myk Saguiguit took over for one game last Tuesday, steering Perpetual to a win over EAC.

Lim is set to return immediately. His first game back will be during Perpetual’s game against the San Sebastian Golden Stags this Friday.
