Rain or Shine breathed more life into its PBA Season 48 Commissioner’s Cup following a 113-101 comeback win over NLEX, Friday at the Philsports Arena.
The Elasto Painters fought back from an early 11-point deficit and then pulled away in the fourth behind Demetrius Treadwell, Rey Nambatac and Keith Datu en route to registering their second win after starting out with five losses.
Treadwell finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds, alongside four assists, a steal, and two blocks to spearhead RoS’ retaliation.
Beau Belga had 14 points. Nambatac and Andrei Caracut supplied 12 points each while the returning Datu chipped in 11 markers, spiked by three treys.
Rain or Shine (2-5) will take on a tough test on December 16, Saturday as it battles Magnolia in Cagayan de Oro.
