PBA: Northport finally punches through, sinks Terrafirma

NorthPort finally gave Bonnie Tan his first win after subduing Terrafirma, 115-100, in the PBA Governors’ Cup, Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The Batang Pier were quick to take control of the match and stayed ahead the rest of the way, ultimately leading to the breakthrough victory of the interim head coach after failing to do so in their first six matches of the conference.

Kevin Murphy top-billed in the triumph with 28 points and nine rebounds. Robert Bolick backed him up with 26 points, nine boards, and six assists.
