PBA Draft: Phoenix Super LPG finds Wright replacement, acquires Tuffin at 6

Months after searching for a successor to Matthew Wright, Phoenix Super LPG finally found one on Sunday afternoon at Market! Market! in Taguig.

Kenneth Tuffin was selected as the sixth overall pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft by the Fuel Masters.

Tuffin, at 26 years old, spent the last four years in the NZ-NBL, playing for Taranaki in his first year before moving to Wellington for his last three seasons in the league.

During the previous season, the 6-foot-4 Fil-Kiwi averaged 8.21 points, 2.74 rebounds, and 1.0 assist.

Before turning professional, Tuffin had previously played for Far Eastern University.
