Men’s Team
UAAP Most Valuable Players, Ray Parks Jr. and Kiefer Ravena, banner the 12-man Gilas cadets crew that will represent the Philippines in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, which shall kick off in Singapore next month.
Joining Parks and Ravena are Marcus Douthit, Mac Belo, Troy Rosario, Glenn Khobuntin, Kevin Ferrer, Jiovanni Jalalon, NCAA MVP Scottie Thompson, Norbert Torres, Arnold Van Opstal, and Almond Vosotros.
Mentored by Tab Baldwin, the Philippines will try to defend its gold medal in the men’s basketball tournament, while the women’s team will try to capture its first-ever SEAG gold.
Women’s Team
Part of the women’s squad, which shall be handled by Patrick Aquino, are veterans Analyn Almazan, Merenciana Arayi, Raiza Palmera, Allana Lim, Camille Sambile, Cindy Resultay, Fria Bernardo, and UAAP cagers, Afril Bernardino, Danica Jose, Claire Castro, and Shelley Gupilan.
Filipino-American Dartmouth College alum Sofia Roman completes the roster of the women’s side, which finished with a silver medal in the 2013 edition.
