Dalph Panopio saw limited time in Cal State Bakersfield’s 64-74 loss to Northern Arizona, Friday morning (Manila time) at the Rolle Activity Center in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Panopio only played nine minutes in the contest. He missed his only shot attempt while committing a turnover.
The Roadrunners faced a 37-20 deficit to close out the first half and never recovered.
Though CSUB was able to pull within nine points, 73-64, late, there were just six seconds left in the game.
The Roadrunners fell to 1-2 for the season.
Shaun Williams paced CSUB with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 from distance. Meanwhile, Justin Edler-Davis added 14 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
Jalen Cone led Northern Arizona with 18 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Keith Haymon and Nik Mains had 11 points each.
Panopio and the Roadrunners head back home on Tuesday (Manila time) to face Colorado College.
