Dalph Panopio showed what made him a special player, helping California State University, Bakersfield take a 99-54 rout of Colorado College, Tuesday (Manila time) at the Icardo Center in Bakersfield, California.
Though limited to just one point, Panopio grabbed seven rebounds, dished out seven assists, and successfully stole the ball twice in 19 minutes of gametime.
The Roadrunners rushed into a 22-2 lead early and only increased its lead to 55-17 by the half.
The game never got close at the closest the Tigers got was cutting the lead down to 30.
Shaun Williams led CSUB with 15 points and seven rebounds to go with four assists and three steals while Justin McCall, Antavion Collum, and Travis Henson had 12 points each.
CSUB went up to 2-2 while dropping Colorado to 1-3.
Scott Reugg was the only Tiger in double-figures with 13 points.
Panopio and the Roadrunners face Boise State next on Saturday.
