Dalph Panopio and CSU Bakersfield were overwhelmed by Colorado, falling 60-46, Sunday (Manila time) at the CU Events Center in Boulder, Colorado.
Panopio logged 13 minutes, finishing with three points, one assist, one steal, and a block.
It was a low-scoring affair that saw the Roadrunners put up just 15 points in the first half while giving up 24.
Colorado found their touch from deep early in the final stanza, racing to a 37-21 lead with 15 minutes left in the game.
A 13-4 response helped CSUB cut its deficit to single digits at 52-44 with 5:14 on the clock but could not get any closer.
CSUB fell to 4-4 and will next face Dartmouth on Wednesday.
Kaleb Higgins led CSUB with nine points for the Roadrunners. Justin Edler-Davis had eight points and eight rebounds while Shawn Stith and Justin McCall got eight points apiece as well.
Keeshawn Barthelamy led the way for Colorado with 12 points and six rebounds while Elijah Parquet and Nique Clifford got 10 points each.
The Buffloes went up to 9-3.
