Turkish national basketball team member Cedi Osman while have an MRI scheduled tomorrow.
Osman has a suspected foot injury after an awkward fall wit 9:18 remaining in the fourth quarter of Turkey’s Group A opener against Canada which the Road Warriors won, 77-69.
“I think it is not good. Of course now we will know in the first 24 hrs. It is difficult to understand. We will send him to the hospital for MRI,” Turkey head coach Ergin Ataman said.
“Cedi was our best player in this game. It was unlucky for us.”
Osman had 10 points and five rebounds before being taken out of the game. Osman left the venue with his left foot heavily taped.

“Maybe with this inury he can’t play after two to three weeks but we will see. We are not sure,” Ataman said.
Turkey will play Senegal on Wednesday.
