ONE Championship stars had a little fun predicting a prospective “Chatri vs. Dana” clash on social media, but the choice was lopsided.
The beef between ONE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chatri Sityodtong and UFC President Dana White started when the American took shots at the hybrid rules super fight between Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.
Sityodtong responded by saying that while he believes White is capable of running the UFC, he doubts that he knows how to appreciate martial arts.
“Dana is a good businessman, but he does not know anything at all about martial arts. I don’t even assume he is aware of how to toss a leg kick,” Sityodtong said in an earlier interview.
“He talks like it with his athletes, but I’d enjoy seeing an online video of him throwing a leg kick. I do not consider him even skilled enough to talk about Muay Thai.”
Having a little fun on social media, ONE’s Instagram asked, “Who wants to see Chatri vs. Dana?” and the comments came flooding in.

“Uncle @yodchatri would beat the breaks off Dana,” Jarred Brooks said.
“Not even a competition,” Colbey Northcutt chimed in.
Even Chatri himself got into the comments section and had himself a laugh.
“Send me location,” Sityodtong said with a laughing emoji.
What’s no laughing matter is Sityodtong’s track record in martial arts. A lifelong practitioner, he currently holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned his promotion through world champion Renzo Gracie.
Sityodtong also has 35 years of experience in Muay Thai. He started his journey with the late Master Yodtong Senanan at the esteemed Sityodtong Gym in Pattaya, Thailand.
