One-and-done NLEX import Forbes signs with Alab

Just like Renaldo Balkman three years ago, San Miguel Alab’s second import for the 10th season of the ASEAN Basketball League is also seeking redemption.

Alab has tapped former NLEX Road Warriors import Adrian Forbes.

The development was confirmed by team owner Charlie Dy.

The 6-foot-9 big man played in only one game for NLEX during the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup. He finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds, and five blocks in a 103-123 defeat to Columbian.

After his NLEX stint, he played for Indonesian club Palita Jaya Energi-MP, Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli Jeddah, and Metros De Santiago of the Dominican Republic.

Alab has yet to name its third and final import.
