OhMyV33NUS teases coaching role after departure from Blacklist International

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Vilaluna hinted at a possible coaching stint after announcing his departure from long-time team Blacklist International in the MPL Philippines.

During an episode of the V33Wise Podcast, the former league MVP replied to a query and teased that she might return as a playing coach in the next season following a two-season hiatus during which she focused on various ventures.

While OhMyV33NUS has yet to coach a squad on the big stage, the Hall of Legends inductee has played a crucial role in Blacklist International’s drafts over the past years, making her a strong candidate for a head coaching position.

“Playing coach. Why not? Pero we’ll see, ‘di malabo ang coach eh. Yun lang masasabi ko, there’s a chance talaga on the coaching part. But, we’ll see,” said OhMyV33NUS.

Known as one of the key figures that helped bring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to new heights, the 29-year-old support specialist joined Blacklist International in 2020 and helped the franchise win three MPL PH championships.

On top of that, she also powered the Tier One-backed squad to the M3 World Championship.

However, OhMyV33NUS, along with long-time teammate Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, took a leave of absence from the team after their failed title campaign in the 2023 MSC where they lost to ONIC Indonesia in six games.

The iconic V33Wise duo recently announced their departure from the team they helped build, breaking what could arguably be one of the most dominant dynasties in ML:BB history.

Also leaving the squad are Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo and another part of Blacklist International’s historic run, Edward “Edward” Dapadap.
