Anticipation among fans has yet to plateau ever since ANTA unveiled Kyrie Irving’s maiden signature sneaker with the brand, the KAI 1, last March.
In the Philippines alone, long queues were formed outside SM Megamall the night before the release of the ‘Artist On Court’ colorway, with many local sneaker aficionados salivating over the first-ever model shown to the world.
Another colorway, the ‘Enlightened Warrior,’ was released via raffle back in April 13 and was met with excitement as well.
Still, many were left wondering if ever there will be a general release after the first two models were sold in limited quantities.
That question was finally answered when ANTA Philippines recently announced that the KAI 1 ‘Playoffs Pack’ will be available nationwide.

It sure is a welcome development for Filipino fans, most especially the avid Irving supporters that have been waiting to get their hands on the NBA champion’s first signature sneaker since parting ways with Nike back in 2020.
Two new versions of the KAI 1 make up the pack, namely the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ colorways inspired by the Dallas Mavericks’ white and navy.
Focusing on the white pair, the shoe features a white upper with acid green and pink accents. Irving’s emblem and the ANTA logo are in gold on both models.
ANTA Philippines gave select members of the media an early preview of the ‘Home’ colorway two days before the pack’s release.

San Beda Red Lions head coach Yuri Escueta and long-time Ateneo Blue Eagles deputy Sandy Arespacochaga presided over the two-hour long media-exclusive trial held at the San Beda University in Mendiola.
The TNT Tropang Giga assistant coaches taught various basketball drills throughout the session to give those in attendance the full KAI 1 experience.
The ANTA KAI 1 Playoffs Pack featuring the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ colorways will release in ANTA stores, anta.ph, and select retailers on April 27.
