NLEX and Rain or Shine cruised to easy wins to remain undefeated in the PBA-Tag Heuer 3-on-3 women’s basketball tournament Friday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

In Group A action, NLEX zoomed to their third straight win after a 15-1 trashing of Phoenix in the first game.

An and-one conversion by Ortega made it 14-1, before Almazan ended the match with a lay-up. Joan Diego was the lone scorer for Phoenix in the match.

But Kath Garcia and Abaca answered with back-to-back baskets to extend the advantage up to 11-7. Rain or Shine were not threatened again as San Miguel struggled to hit their outside shots.

Rain or Shine improved to 2-0 with the win, tying Blackwater on top of Group B standings. San Miguel suffered their third straight setback and sank to 0-3.
