University of Perpetual Help System DALTA continued its mastery in the NCAA Season 98 Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament while Emilio Agionaldo College kept close on Wednesday in Subic, Zambales.
Mary Rhose Dupol and Janine Padua of the Lady Altas remained undefeated with a 5-0 record, dominating Lyceum of the Philippines University (21-13, 21-17) and Arellano University (21-9, 21-8).
Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Cathrine Almazan and Monna Banares were still at a close second with a 4-0 record beating College of St. Benilde in three sets (21-16, 18-21, 5-7)
Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Lara Silva and Chamberlaine Cunada remained at the three spot (4-1) after a win over AU (21-4, 21-13) and Jose Rizal University (21-15, 21-7).
Trisha Paras and Maxine Tayag of San Beda University overtook the fourth spot (3-1) from College of St. Benilde after being undefeated on day two. The Red Lions beat JRU (21-12, 21-19) and LPU (21-19, 21-14).
CSB’s Wielyn Estoque and Jessa Dorog had a 3-2 win-loss record followed by San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ Katherine Santos and Kristine Dionisio in the fifth spot with 2-2.
Mapua University’s Francine Macatangay and Raina Vergino; and LPU’s Joan Doguna and Ritanhell Perez finished with 1-3 and 1-4 respectively.
Still winless are JRU’s Karyla Jasareno and Marianne Asalona; and AU’s Harem Ceballos and Marianne Padillon both with 0-5.
