MVP blasts PBA Finals Game Three refs: ‘Worst officiating by far’

SMART/PLDT Communications chairman Manny Pangilinan went to social media to express his opinion towards the officials that called Game Three of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, Sunday evening.

And it wasn’t pretty.

TNT felt frustrated right from the get-go after Troy Rosario picked up two quick fouls in the opening stanza of the game.

Rosario was also assessed his third personal foul in the second frame.

Also during the second quarter, the Tropang Giga were in the midst of a rally when Brian Heruela was called for a foul against Paul Lee while the Hotshot was attempting a triple. Replays showed that Heruela stood very far from Lee.

It reached a boiling point for Pangilinan during the third canto when Jackson Corpuz was called for a flagrant foul against Rosario, who dislocated his pinky finger after a hard fall.
