MPL: SUPER FRINCE, ONIC score stunning sweep over RSG

Rookie-laden ONIC PH stunned RSG PH, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season 10 at the ICITE Auditorium, Sunday night.

ONIC PH secured its third win in four outings to take solo second in the standings.

“Siguro po kasi ginagawa lang namin yung mga lagi naming ginagawa sa practice. Kumbaga, yung mindset lang siguro doon lang nagkaiba since defending champion ang RSG,” said ONIC PH head coach Kevin “Bluffzy” Reyes.

Fighting for the Lord in the 14th minute of Game One, Kenneth “Nets” Barro (Beatrix) was able to burst down Kenneth “Kenji” Villa (Gloo) which gave them the upper hand in the tug of war for the objective.

Nets eventually sealed the Lord while Eman “EMANN” Sangco (Wanwan) and Arvie “Aqua” Calderon (Cecillion) tried to defend RSG PH’s base. Unfortunately, the five-man ONIC PH proved to be too much as they bagged the win in 16 minutes.

The ONIC PH gold laner scored three kills, a death, and six assists while Frince “SUPER FRINCE” Ramirez’s Xavier, who constantly poked RSG PH, had three kills, a death, and six assists in the 11-6 Game One win.

SUPER Frince (Selena) once again made his presence felt in Game Two,, taking down Dylan “Light” Catipon’s Lolita in the opening minute before landing an Abyssal Arrow on EMANN’s Claude at the second minute to make it two quick kills for ONIC PH.

RSG PH never recovered from there as ONIC PH bagged a wire-to-wire 8-0 win in just 11 minutes and 10 seconds for the sweep.

The rookie gold laner finished with three kills and five assists while Nets had four of the team’s eight kills in the victory.
