Despite riding the bench last season, Onic Philippines roamer Jefferson “Kekedot” Mogol proved that he belonged in the league with masterful performances to help his team survive and score a 2-1 debut win over Smart Omega in Week 1 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 on Saturday

“Andaming lanes na win. For example yung exp lane win, yung gold lane din namin strong lane. Tapos the fact na assassin si Raizen at Fighter si Sensui, mas mataas yung chance namin dun sa turtle fight. More like malaking factor talaga yung draft nung Game 1.”
Kekedot Mogol announced his reentry into the MPL main five with an impressive performance with Natalia to help Onic secure the opening win.
His early game aggression led to pickoffs and his vision gaming helped the Hedgehogs secure all the turtle buffs.
Kekedot capped off his season debut with a double kill in the 14th minute where Onic used a 3-2 exchange to take down the enemy base turret, 1-0.
In Game 2, Duane “Kelra” Pillas (Karrie) flexed his might taking the match MVP by way of a 4-0-4 KDA, highlighted by two kills in the 15th minute that touched off a 4-1 exchange to score the equalizer.
It looked like Omega was on the way to a reverse sweep after taking a 4k net worth lead courtesy of Dean Christian “Raizen” Sumagui’s (Hayabusa) triple kill during an 11th-minute skirmish but Onic pulled off a genius conceal play in the top lane at the 15th-minute mark to secure the lord.
With the luminous lord on their side, Onic successfully marched on the bot lane erasing Omega’s final defense to take their first season win.
“Nung unang try po kasi namin na iikot kami, nakita kami nung Haya kaya umisip na lang kami ng bagong ikot kasi nahihirapan kaming abutin yung winning condition ng kalaban. Tapos nakikipagvision lang yung Karina namin dun sa side ng lord. Tapos siya yung pinaclear ko sa waves para makapunta kami dun sa bush sa top lane. Tas dun na po nangyari yung invi (conceal play) na yun,” narrated Kekedot on their winning play that helped take the series.
