MPL PH: OhMyV33NUS signature Estes propels Blacklist to sweep of RSG

Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s signature Estes pick once again looked invincible as Blacklist International scored a clean 2-0 sweep of RSG Slate Philippines in the penultimate week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati on Sunday.

The Codebreakers inched closer to an upper bracket berth, as they are now just one point behind Echo (24pts) for the second seed and the upper bracket slot.

RSG fell to 6-6 with 18 points to stay in the fourth spot.

For Head coach Aniel “MasterTheBasics” Jiandani, this win was a result of the team’s unyielding effort to perfect their system heading into the playoffs.

“Mostly sa ginagawa naming practice kasi dahil nga hindi pa perfect yung timpla ng Blacklist ngayon kaya nandun pa kami sa point na nung una namin silang nakalaban is naghahanap pa kami e,” he said.

“Ngayon unti unti ng nabubuo yung pinaka game plan ng Blacklist kaya mas maganda yung laban namin ngayon,” he added.

Blacklist displayed superb mechanical prowess in the crucial 19th-minute midlane skirmish where Dylan “Light” Catipon (lolia) caught Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales (Brody) with a Noumenon Blast.

However, a flicker from the goldlaner and a Blessing of Moon Goddess from OhMyV33NUS (Estes) provided the sustainability to score a 1-0 pick-off and secure the lord.

OhMyV33NUS once again delivered a timely Blessing of Moon Goddess in the 20th minute to absorb all RSG ultimate skills and force a 3-1 exchange to take the opener, 1-0.

OhMyV33NUS’ Estes once again keyed Blacklist in Game 2 as RSG just couldn’t find the right counter with the M3 world champion’s sustainability.
