ONIC PH is now on the verge of securing a playoff berth.
This, after ONIC PH handed Omega Esports its fourth consecutive loss, 2-1, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League on Friday night.
With the win, ONIC PH took the fourth spot in the standings with 17 points with a 7-4 standing. The team is now two points away from qualifying for the playoffs.
After dropping the opening game, Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales’ Yve helped ONIC PH tie the series at 1-all. He finished with four kills and 11 assists without a single death in the contest.
Then, Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio’s Paquito took the center stage to seal the reverse sweep. He ended with six kills, four deaths, and eight assists.
Omega Esports (3-8), despite the loss, improved its tally to 10 points.
ONIC PH will face TNC on Sunday at 6:00 PM while Omega Esports will take on Nexplay EVOS on Saturday at 8:00 PM.
