MPL PH: Bren makes it 6th straight, continues ONIC woes

Bren Esports made quick work of Onic Philippines, 2-0, for their sixth straight win in Week 4 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 on Saturday.

Bren has not dropped a single game since succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of reigning world champions Echo during the season debut. They take a momentary lead in the standings with 18pts courtesy of a 6-1 win-loss card.

Bren started with their domination during the 4th-minute turtle fight where Kyle Angelo “KyleTzy” Sayson (Akai) scored a double kill to lead a 3-0 wipe.

Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel (Valentina) then executed a timely Final Slash set-up play in the 9th minute that led to a 5-3 wipeout and the lord.

The M2 world champions never felt threatened from there to take the opener, 1-0.

They did not let up in Game 2, lording over the map in the 10th minute after unleashing a 4-1 trade-off during the lord fight.

Not even Onic’s 2-0 response in the 11th minute could stop Bren’s momentum as the boys in black and gold with a 2-0 pickoff of their own in the ensuing lord dance.

Pheww (Valentina) capped his superb performance with a Triple kill 15th minute off a two-man Fatal Links set-up from Rowgien Stimpson “Owgwen” Unigo (Atlas) for a close-out 4-1 exchange.
