Enigmatic Filipino mixed martial artist Carlo Laurel is in hot water once more.
The 27-year-old has been arrested along with four others after a sting operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Laguna Provincial Office at around 2:00AM Thursday.
Laurel and the four other personalities were arrested in Block 24, Lot 10 Grace St., Rosario Complex, San Pedro City, Laguna.
Confiscated were at least 150 grams of suspected kush worth P216,000, various drug paraphernalia, two units of cellular phone, and buy-bust money.
All are being charged for violation of Article II of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Laurel, who trains out of UBG MMA, owns a 4-5 record.
Laurel was a former URCC mainstay, competing in the promotion from 2014-16.
He also fought for Ultimate Beatdown and Rebel FC in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
