Minana to take over NXPE franchise starting MPL PH 12

Minana is set to replace Nexplay Evos in the upcoming Season 12 of the MPL Philippines. The news was confirmed by none other than Julius “Banoobs” Mariano himself.

Banoobs shared that the team plans to go “completely all-out” for the next season, stating that they are currently in a position to test out the rookies for the sake of experience.

He also touched upon the challenges that the team faced in Season 11, where they were unable to give their all due to the setup in place.

“For the next season talaga, completely all out kami kase ngayon nag-start kami dito for the sake of experience talaga para masubukan talaga yung mga bata kasi they’re super rookies,” he said about what the team’s plans are for the next season.

During Season 11, Nexplay Evos had absorbed Minana’s roster and retained veteran midlaner Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon.

Although the rookie-laden squad missed the playoffs after finishing seventh overall, they delivered a statement win in their final regular-season match-up where they completed a reverse sweep of M3 World Champions Blacklist International.

“Hindi kami maka-allout kasi at first we’re playing under NXP,” revealed Banoobs.

Looking ahead to Season 12, Banoobs assured that the team will be in “full blast” under Minana. Fans can expect significant changes from the squad, as they aim to come back stronger and more prepared than ever.

“Definitely for Season 12, we’ll be in full blast. You can expect a lot of changes and talagang all out kami for Season 12 under Minana,” he said.
