Meneses, Arado, Molina, six others don’t renew with Petro Gazz

Petro Gazz looks to rebuild come the 2022 Premier Volleyball League season.

Nine players headlined by the trio of Ria Meneses, Kath Arado, and Ces Molina have decided to not renew with Petro Gazz and enter free agency.

The team announced the development on its social media accounts.

Also out from the team are Jerrili Malabanan, Alina Bicar, Ivy Perez, Mean Mendrez, Jessey De Leon, and Rica Enclona.

Petro Gazz is coming off a third place finish in both the Premier Volleyball League and the PNVF Champions League.

During the Open Conference, the Angels finished the elimination round with a 6-3 slate to enter the final four as the fourth seed.

Losing to Creamline in the semis, Petro Gazz was able to salvage bronze after sweeping Choco Mucho.

Both Arado and Meneses made the All-Premier team with the former taking Best Libero honor. The latter was also the Best Middle Blocker.

In the PNVF Champions League however, the star-studded squad lost to high school-based squad California Precision Sports in five sets.

Only five players remain in the roster of Petro Gazz – Myla Pablo, Grethcel Soltones, Remy Palma, Chie Saet, and Seth Rodriguez.
