Alas Pilipinas Women has finalized its 14-player roster for the opening leg of the 2026 SEA V Cup, with Celine Marsh and Jennifer Nierva emerging as the final cuts from the 16-player pool that traveled to Vietnam.
Creamline’s Jia De Guzman and Akari’s Mars Alba will handle the setter duties under new head coach Taka Minowa, who is set to make his debut at the helm of the national team.
Capital1 standouts Bella Belen and Vanie Gandler, along with Choco Mucho’s Eya Laure, will spearhead the outside hitter rotation, joined by National University standout Vange Alinsug.
Meanwhile, Capital1’s Erika Santos is set to make her first appearance for Alas Pilipinas as she joins Alyssa Solomon at the opposite hitter position.
Niña Ytang, the lone holdover from the squad that competed in the AVC Women’s Cup, will anchor the middle blocker unit alongside ZUS Coffee’s Thea Gagate, PLDT’s Dell Palomata, and Akari’s Fifi Sharma.
Rounding out the roster are Choco Mucho’s Dawn Catindig and Akari’s Justine Jazareno, who will serve as the team’s liberos.
Alas Pilipinas opens its campaign against host Vietnam on Friday before taking on Thailand on Saturday and Indonesia on Sunday.
